Plywood house is undergoing renovation for the second time, from its first inception some 10 years ago. This project is and was seminal in the sense that it embraced all of the philosophy of the work of zlgdesign, it represented a balanced approach to using very ordinary and raw materials organised in the most contemporary yet Miesian way. This contrasting of older and newer interior elements has given us the premise for which all of our other work is built on to this day.
